Busan University
Busan University (Korean: 부산 대학교; Busan Taehakkyo) is one of the largest universities and the first public university in the Republic of Korea. It is one of the most famous and prestigious national universities along with Seoul University and the flagship university of the country.
Pusan University was established in May 1946 (three months earlier than Seoul University). The main campus of the university is located in Busan, the second largest city in the Republic of Korea. PNU also has 2 branches (campuses), in Miryan and in Yangsan. Since 1998, almost 90,000 bachelors, 12,755 masters and 2,399 doctoral scientists have been trained.
