Student council
For a student, the Kyrgyz International Universal College is not just modern study programmes, lectures, seminars and exams, but also a rich student life.
The Student Council is here to make student life brighter and more varied, and to unite students around shared interests. Initiative, self-belief, leadership and teamwork — these qualities are developed not only by study but also by the college’s student community.
The Student Council is the student self-government body and organiser of all academic events for students. Its work spans the following areas:
- engagement with other student bodies and organisations;
- developing student initiatives aimed at improving study conditions and extracurricular life;
- active student participation in organisational and technical work: exhibitions, conferences, academic seminars;
- organising leisure and recreation for top-performing students;
- designing and running activities that strengthen students’ responsibility for academic plans, discipline and conduct;
- representing student interests at all levels of management;
- energising student-collective management and engaging students in the public life of the college;
- creating a unified information space for students and administration;
- taking part in allocating the scholarship fund and providing financial aid to students in need.
