Song contest

On May 20, 2023 in Bishkek, at the "Europe" hotel, the 5th annual Korean song competition among students of Korean schools and universities in Kyrgyzstan was held. The organizers of the competition were representatives of Sokuluk Sejong. There were 16 members in total who were able to sing famous songs in Korean and show off their vocal skills. Also at the event were distinguished guests:

Director of the Education Center of the Republic of Korea in Kyrgyzstan Mr. Kim Jae-yong
The purpose of the competition was to show and acquaint the younger generation with the culture of Korea, so that students could not only learn the language, but also be able to get to know the music, as well as famous Korean performers.

The concert program began with the performance of the group of drummers "Nanta" from Sejong Sokuluk, tricks from the "Taekwondo" class were demonstrated, and lotteries were held, with wonderful prizes. 2nd year students Mendegulova Diana and Zhakypova Altynai spoke from the Kyrgyz International Universal College.

According to the results of the competition:

Zhanybek kyzy Dayana, a 3rd year student of the Kyrgyz Institute of Languages and Culture, took the honorary 1st place by performing the song Lee Hi “My Love” and won $200.
3rd place was taken by a college student Zhakypova Altynai, the prize was $100.
4th place went to Mendegulova Diana, winning $50
